Nice to meet you.

Hey, I'm Jenny, human-centered designer

I am am a human-centered design strategist, UX designer and user researcher. I like getting my hands dirty to explore and make things. I I love working on design challenges where I see potentials for improving users’ experiences and creating meaningful impact to the community.

Currently, I am a Master’s candidate at the Stanford Design Impact Program, exploring ways to design sustainable and human-centered products. I received my undergraduate degree of Manufacturing and Design Engineering from Northwestern University. After graduation, I worked as a fin-tech product manager at Morningstar in Chicago, leading an international software development team. I am the founder of Jiang China Design initiative. It empowers Chinese college students with the toolkit and mindset of human-centered design to apply to local community challenges.

I loves tomatoes 🍅  and can eat them every single day. During COVID-19 quarantine, I started planting tomatoes and even built my own planter box! I've lived in Hangzhou, Chicago, and Palo Alto, and now I live in Moss Beach, California where there are beautiful sunset and bathing seals.
